1st day
Friday/BRESCIA and hinterland
Arrival of participants and accommodation at the hotel. Visit to a wine cellar belonging to the wine route of the Longobard hills with final tasting of local products. Return to Brescia. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day
Saturday/BRESCIA and hinterland
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards meeting at Piazza Paolo VI for a guided tour of the historic city center through the main squares where there are monuments that characterize its historical-artistic face. Continue with a visit to the museum of Santa Giulia, set up in a monastic complex built in the 8th century by the last Lombard king Desiderio. The museum, UNESCO site, houses inside the Domus dell'Ortaglia, two beautiful Roman houses brought to light in 2000 and a collection of works of art from different historical periods including the famous Winged Victory, symbol of the city, and the Cross of Desire, a masterpiece of medieval jewelry. Free lunch. In the afternoon visit to a farm where you can learn more about the cycle of production of typical cheese accompanied by an expert cheesemaker. Dinner at the farm of the same farmhouse. Return to Brescia. Overnight stay.
3rd day
Sunday/BRESCIA and Padernello
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit to a cellar in the hinterland with a walk through the vineyards and final tasting accompanied by typical products. Continue to Padernello for a guided tour of the famous castle dating back to the fourteenth century. At the end of the tour, departure for the return trip.
