Rome, Greece, Israel and Jordan

ROME

Arrival at Fiumicino airport and transfer to the hotel, check in and lunch. In the afternoon we visit with guide this imperial city with a panoramic view of Campidoglio square, Fori Imperiali and Colosseum (from outside). After the tour we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

ROME

Breakfast. Possibility to take part in the meeting with Pope Francesco in San Pietro square (if the Pope is in Rome). Lunch. In the afternoon we continue our tour with the baroque Rome: Quirinale palace, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spagna square and Navona square. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

ROME - THESSALONIKI

Breakfast. Transfer to Fiumicino airport and flight to Thessaloniki via Athens. Arrival in Thessaloniki, meet with our tour escort/guide and city tour. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight.

EXC. FILIPPI - KAVALA

Breakfast. Full day guided tour to Filippi where Apostle Paul in 49 BC founded the first Christian community in Europe. Lunch during the visit. In the afternoon we continue to Kavala and we visit its ancient part. Return to Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight.

THESSALONIKI - KALAMBAKA - DELFI

Breakfast. In the morning we visit the Meteora monasteries, rich in icons and frescoes, spiritual centre of the hermit life. Lunch in restaurant. Departure for the gorgeous Delfi at feet of Parnas mountain, Unesco heritage town and important archeological site. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight.

DELFI - OSSIOS LUKAS - ATHENS

Breakfast. In the morning we visit the archeological park of Delfi. Lunch. In the afternoon we leave for Ossios Lukas where we visit the ancient monastery with byzantine mosaics. We continue for Athens. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

ATHENS

Breakfast. We visit Acropolis and Agorà, testimony spots of Saint Paul's predictions. Lunch and in the afternoon visit of the National Archeological Museum and panoramic tour of the modern part of the city. Dinner and overnight.

ATHENS - TEL AVIV

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and departure for Tel Aviv. Upon arrival we meet our guide and we go to visit Mount Carmelo and basilica of Stella Maris. We continue to Nazareth. Accommodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

NAZARETH - EXC. SEA OF GALILEE

Breakfast. In the morning we visit the centre of Nazareth: Basilica of Annunciation and Francescan museum with the caves of Hebrew-Christian village. We leave to lake of Tiberias for lunch. In the afternoon we visit places connected to the public life of Jesus Christ near the Sea of Galilee; Beatitudes mountain, Tabga, Cafarnao site. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

NAZARETH - GERASA - NEBO MOUNTAIN - PETRA

Breakfast. Departure for the Jordan border and entrance in Jordan. We meet our guide and we visit Jerash, the hellenic-roman city which is the best preserved in the whole Middle East area. Lunch. After lunch we continue to Mount Nebo where, according to the tradition, Moses, before he died, had seen the Promised land. We continue to Petra. Accommodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight.

PETRA - AMMAN

Breakfast. Visit of Petra, dug in the pink rock by Nabatean, which used to be an important centre of a florishing empire 2000 years ago. To reach the site we pass through a narrow canyon called "SIQ". On its extremity there are the most interesting and best preserved monuments such as "Treasure" facade, the Obelisk tomb, the theatre and the lower town. Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon we leave for Amman. Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

AMMAN - JERICHO - JERUSALEM

Breakfast. Departure to the Israelian border with a stop in Madaba to visit an ancient Byzantine mosaic site that shows us the spots of the Holy Land. We return to Israel and we stop for lunch in Jericho. We visit the archeological site of Qumram. In these caves were found ancient manuscripts of the Bible. Then we stop at Qasr el Yahud, the baptism place of Jesus Christ on river Jordan. We pass the Judean mountains and we stop at Wadi el Qelt where the view of the desert is particularly suggestive. Arrival in Jerusalem. Accomodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight.

JERUSALEM - BETHLEHEM

Breakfast. Visit of the Mosque, the Prayer's wall, via Dolorosa, the basilica of the Resurrection with Calvary and Holy Sepulchre. Lunch. In the afternoon we leave for Bethlehem where we visit the basilica of Nativity and the Shepherd's field. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

JERUSALEM

Breakfast. In the morning we visit the Olive mountain; spot of Jesus Christ's Ascent, Holy Father, Dominus Flevit, Getsemani basilica with cave, Virgin Mary's tomb. Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon we visit the Christian Sion with the Last Supper, then the basilica of Holy Mary in Sleep, the church of St. Peter of Gallicantu. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

JERUSALEM - TEL AVIV

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport of Tel Aviv for the return flight.
